The Hogweed And The Aderyn is a musical project by Gözde Omay and Atay İlgün.  It gathers inspirations from various elements and  might gain the love of admirers of artists, acts like Still Light, Sand Snowman, Incredible String Band, Fairport Convention, Sahba Motabelli, Robbie Basho, Fleet Foxes, Shearwater, Six Organs Of Admittance and Aşık Veysel. Wet soil brewed spruce incence, history of central Asia are a few for instance. Instruments used are acoustic and are collected from all around the world. You can hear many instruments like African kalimba to Asian flutes to Turkish folkloric instruments blended into a perfect eclectic music which speaks and serves to the same idea and ideal. Lyrically it can be about nature in it’s most stripped way, two lovers in Persia flying around on a magical carpet or simply about a question about how we evolved from a a stone.
